Trestle is one in a series of builds utilizing the inherent beauty in metal and wood combinations. I love bridges and a prominent feature of their construction is the trestle – a horizontal beam supported by two sloping legs. The salvaged White Oak table top is laminated, splined and doweled. Several coats of polyurethane were applied to table top’s surface to insure a durable finish.
Trestle was commissioned by an individual. Nonetheless similar forms and materials may be created upon request.
